Flag fabrics
Historically, flags have been made out of wool, silk, and cotton. With the invention of synthetic fibers, most outdoor flags are now made out of nylon or polyester. Each material has its advantages. Polyester is generally the most durable, the heaviest. Cotton is a natural fiber that looks soft, but will not be as durable as synthetic materials in outdoor weather. Polyester is a very durable material. It is heavy and durable, making it a popular choice for large flags and commercial applications. We offer high quality polyester flags for direct printing with sublimation inks, transfer dye-subprinting. The density and weight (from 90 to 110 g/m2) is different on each flag material. Printing technic and inks is very important on what flag fabric is best for you and what gives the best print thru to give you the best looking flag possible. With our experience and knowledge we can help you in choosing the best flag fabric.
