Overlaminating films
Laminating film is essential for protecting and extending the life of printed materials while enhancing their appearance. Scandraft offers a wide range of laminating film products, adapted to different applications and surfaces.
There are two main types of lamination: hot laminate and cold laminate. Hot laminate is a cost-effective option that is activated with heat and provides strong adhesion - perfect for many printed materials, but less suitable for heat-sensitive materials such as some photos. Cold laminate does not require heat and is applied quickly and smoothly using pressure-sensitive adhesive - ideal for flat surfaces and sensitive materials.
Both protect against UV radiation and mechanical wear, which extends the life of printed surfaces, such as vehicle printing. We also have special laminates for non-slip floors, anti-graffiti, effect laminates and blockout for displays.
