<p>REACH Compliance is based on the standard Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 Regulation concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals which establishes policy and procedures for collecting and assessing information on the properties and hazards of chemical substances. The standard requires that chemicals, on their own, in a mixture or solution, or in an article manufactured, imported, and placed on the market, must be registered through the ECHA. This compliance is intended for companies that manufacture and distribute chemicals or products containing chemical substances (called "articles") in the EU, in quantities of 1 ton or greater. Only companies with a legal entity in Europe can submit a registration under REACH; however, non-EU companies may submit REACH registration by appointing a third-party REACH Only Representative to register on their behalf.</p>
