Product Information
MasterTex Dark Matter is a versatile black-backed polyester textile for large-format graphics, trade fairs, events and retail environments. The black backing effectively blocks background light and graphics, providing a clean and professional visual expression even in bright environments. The light transmission is ≤ 1%, making the material an excellent choice for applications where light transmission is not desired.
The material consists of 100% knitted polyester and has a weight of 240 g/m². The knitted construction creates a soft textile feel while the material offers good dimensional stability and easy handling during production and assembly.
Dark Matter can be used for sublimation printing (direct and transfer) and UV printing, which provides great flexibility in production. With material widths of up to 505 cm, large seamless graphic surfaces can be produced for everything from trade fair walls to retail displays and event environments.
